Agatha Katharine Advincula is a senior at Millennium High School.  She lives in Brooklyn but grew up in Michigan and Florida. This is her first year participating in Girls Write Now. She spends most of her time either reading, writing, fencing or binge watching new TV shows.  She loves to write poetry while in the subway. Or at 2 in the morning. Her favorite authors are Margaret Atwood, Maya Angelou, and George Orwell.​

Adrienne Jordan has been a freelance travel journalist since 2010. She is based in Brooklyn, New York and contributes writing and photography to publications such as USA Today, Travel & Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, Marie Claire, and Men's Journal. She has won a Visit California Award for Best Thematic Placement in a magazine on the topic of Los Angeles.
