About the Event:

The cutting edge pieces from this anthology are debuted live at the QWERTY Digital Media Exhibition, the culmination of the Digital Media Mentoring Program year, hosted by the New York Historical Society in June. Ranging from memoir short films to non-linear stories made with code, the event showcases the next generation of media makers creating at the intersection of language, technology, and art.

QWERTY is emceed by Digital Media Mentoring mentee/mentor pair Havi Pham and KK Appleand features a panel of digital game changers moderated by Vivian Lee, editor at Little A. The panel includes: including Kimberly Drew, social media manager for the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Sudi Green, comedian, actress, and Emmy-nominated writer for Saturday Night Live; Jazmine Hughes, associate editor for The New York Times; and Lynette Nylander, writer and media maker.
