Born and raised in Harlem, Maxx Carr loves novels, British television, and the musical stylings of Regina Spektor, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Queen. When her nose is not in a book, she is writing, spending time with her friends, or eating her favorite foods. She currently attends the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and lives with her mother and four bookcases.

Sarah Zabrodski is a Canadian (by birth and heart) currently living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Sarah has a MA in art history from New York University, works as an editor at the Rubin Museum of Art, and publishes her writing on sites such as The Getty Iris and Hyperallergic. Sarah loves art and language and the combination of the two.
