Muntarin Ahmed is 17 years old and lives in Queens, New York. She's currently a senior at Thomas A. Edison C.T.E High School. She is certified in Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and knows coding. Her favorite author is John Green, and her favorite genre is poetry. She's part of Girls Write Now because she wants to improve her English comprehension skills and loves working with other writers and creators.

Once upon a time, Alexa received her BA in Spanish and Latin American Literature from NYU.  Currently, she works as an Editor of YA and MG literature at the incredible development company, Glasstown Entertainment.
